:: Petition against Software Patents in the EU: If you haven't signed it yet, please do so now! On September 1st, the European Parliament will discuss (and maybe decide on) a proposal for software patents. If software patents are signed into law in Europe, this will seriously hinder open software development. Visit swpat.ffii.org for detailed information about the problem of software patents.
